Wheeler Farm

In an effort to do something fabulous (and free) today, I took my youngest three and pals to Wheeler Farm . It's Just South of Salt Lake and is one of my very favorite farms ever. It's an actual working farm, with a duck pond, loads of animals, several tree houses, a small museum of antique farm equipment. With it being officially Fall in Utah, it's also ridiculously gorgeous.  Three cheers for fresh air (not took chilly yet), for farm animals, for bread to feed to the ducks, and for good friends.  I'm so happy that Ryan is through with his radiation treatment, things could almost be called normal today!***

Preston wasn't at the farm adventure as he was at an all day musical performance. Be's the handsome guy in the black shirt and grey shorts.  Calvin was also m.i.a. form the farm, doing a fab scout overnighter and off to a birthday party.

Owen thought this looked like a Rockstar Chicken.  I think he's right.

Sheep are cool.  They also kept "baaaa-ing"

This picture is all the more fabulous as it's equipment they aren't supposed to be on.

The boys.

Simon feeding some grass to a rabbit.

"Let's all pretend to be using the outhouse!" What a great idea.
Owen looks like he really has to go!

This was a giant hay bale pyramid, probably 10 levels high.

On old wagon. Super fun farm visit.

*** This post is for Saturday, November 8th.***
