Hair Cuts or Hairs Cut

Ryan decided that Simon and Owen were looking a little shaggy this morning, so he cut their hair before they headed off to school.  The end results were great. I really wish that the idea had occurred to us yesterday, which was picture day. But then the boys wouldn't have been able to rock picture day faux hawks.  Handsome boys.

FYI: today's chemo-radiation gift was "Pop Its" fireworks, because I think there is something therapeutic about throwing those little things on the ground and hearing them make that loud popping sound.

It's a fun trick noise maker!

Owen was sad that I didn't get a picture of him with his dad cutting his hair, so here is his "after" shot.

I totally felt like I needed to go to this far away, crazy cheap store this afternoon.  I was hoping for some crazy cheap apples so that I could can homemade applesauce. Right as I walked into the store I saw apples, 3 lb for $.99, which is such a great deal. Not 60 seconds later I ran into my dear cousin, who happened to feel like she needed to do a little random shopping at this far from her store as well.  It was such a treat.  Lucky us! It was a lovely tender mercy.
