Cold Saturday, But With Warm Hearts

As of 10:39pm, Edinburgh time, the weather her is the exact same as it is in SLC, UT.  Cold.  Very cold with the chance of snow. (37 fahrenheit for both, but who knows what the wind chill was doing with the gusts we were experieincing here all day.) Well, in spite of the chill, we managed to get out and have some good Scottish fun.  We started at the Museum of Scotland, and finished on a nature hike where Simon's art work was said to be on display.  We arrived slightly late for the magical woodland adventure, and struggled to locate the tour group, being in an unfamiliar, heavily wooded park.  In the end, we never actually got to see Simon's creations, but we did have a fun hike, and hot chocolate when we got home with whipped cream. Saturday is a special day.

RYan and Owen, playing together at the museum. Owen just loved Ryan's bunny puppet.

Calvin thought this Viking Boat was really rad. It was.

The inside of the Museum is architecturally beautiful.  We are on the fourth floor looking down into the atrium.

Many are cold, but few are frozen.  I am wearing two sweaters and my wool winter coat, with my hat covering as much of my head and neck as possible, fighting the urge to cover my whole head.
