Stirling Silver

Today was Stirling tourist day.  About an hour drive outside of Edinburgh lies another Scottish gem, Stirling, with tow fantastic must see Scottish treats: Stirling Castle and the National Wallace Monument.
We have been to both places before, but today more parts of the castle were open for viewing, which was rad.  And when we tried to go to the monument last time, we made it to the top of the hill only to discover that the actual monument was closed. But not today.  We climbed the 246 stairs to the top, and now have aching legs to show for it. Yippee!

Lunch in front of Stirling Castle: Humous, veg, crisps, and fruit.  Calvin was like "where's the meat."

Stirling Castle is cool because we get to dress up.  I even convinced Alex to get in on the action, but took the shot with her camera, so you'll just have to take my word for it.
By the time we got to the Wallace Monument my camera battery was dead, but we really did visit.  Again, you will just have to take my word for it.

  1. Alex looks like a model, seriously hasn't aged a bit!
