St. George's Cathedral

My first field trip in this country was with Owen Ryan Wallace Smith to St. Georg's Cathedral.  They have a Christmas tree display in the chapel with several trees decorated by various charity organizations.  The interior of the church was truly beautiful. Not knowing what to expect with the trees, I think I pictured something a little more glamorous.  But we did get to ride the bus, and a lady at the cathedral handed out grapes and orange segments.  Who can argue with that?!

Here in Edinburgh, when the littles go on field trips, they are forced to wear these bright construction vests, made small just for them.  It's fantastic. I wanted to hand Owen a pneumatic drill and tell him to have at it.

Here it is.  The Christmas tree display.  The trees were all about 5 feet high and marginally decorated. There was even a tree sponsored by a family law practice, which didn't really help me feel peace on earth.

Owen in front of the best decorated tree. Enough said.

  1. I am so getting those vest! They are awesome, can you imagine having your kids wear that at Disneyland, the grocery store or the movies?! I love that!
