Merry Christmas Day in London

Morning "selection box".  This tradition in Britain is a chocolate variety pack of sweets.
Annie decorating the chalk board T-shirt that her Grandma Linda gave her.

Preston and I sipping cocoa on the River Thames boat tour.

Big Ben at Parliament.  Just like in Peter Pan.

Peppermint pig smashed to bits before the close of the night.  Proof we officially completed Christmas Day.

  1. Hello I think you need to elaborate on the smashed pig thing, we don't do that in Tucson.

    1. It's a Smith tradition that we have adopted. It started in NY. Here goes:
      1. Take a peppermint pig and place it in a red velvet bag.
      2. Pass around a little hammer and take turns hitting the pig and telling favorite memories of Christmas's past.
      3. Open the bag and eat peppermint pig bits.
      4. Repeat next Christmas season.
