We have almost good news about our electrical inspection. We mostly passed and can press forward with the rest of the remodel, which sounds really good. Now for the bad bit. There is a wire that runs from the electrical box in our back yard to the the back wall of our house, just outside our kitchen. The power company says the wire is big enough to handle our upgrade. Our electrician says that the wire is big enough to handle our upgrade... but the city recently passed an ordinance requiring a larger wire... just to be sure... that this home remodel takes 2x longer than expected and is 3x more expensive than anticipated. This translates into hiring a company to dig a 30 foot trench, 2 feet deep, across the diagonal of our back yard. Isn't that going to look nice. Maybe we should also do some back yard landscaping... while we're at it.
Look at that handsome construction worker. And he's willing to work at all hours of the day.
Look. Now they're primed! I'm lobbying to paint them fucia. At this point, I don't think Ryan cares anymore.
