Christmas Classics

There is something simply magical about Christmas time.  And being cut from the same cloth as my father, I am also a big time fan of movies.  Put the two together and you get a wonderful way to spend a few hours.  At the top of the list are: All of the claymation movies of the past: Rudolf, Santa Claus is coming to town, The Little Drummer Boy, ELf.  I absolutely love While You Were Sleeping, The Muppets: A Christmas Carol, and let's not forget the cartoon version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas.  What a wonderful time of year.  Not all of my favorites deal directly with the birth of the Christ child, but they do carry the gospel message that better things lay ahead, we can change and improve, love lasts, miracles occur, and that life is beautiful.  Merry Christmas movies.

Your'e a mean one, Mr. Grinch.
