As today was lovely and sunny, and about 45 degrees fahrenheit, we knew we had to go on a wee adventure. We chose Dalkeith Country Estate as our destination, where their website boasted a crazy big fun play area for the kids, and a farm with piglets, cows, horses and ducks. When we got there we discovered that the play area is actually closed during the winter, and we couldn't locate any piglets. We did, however, have a wonderful time wandering around the 500 acre property, petting random dogs, soaking up the sun and breathing in the fresh air. Ay, twas time well spent.
