Service Party

A Christmas tradition is growing with a close neighborhood friend.  Tonight our family spent time doing a service project - preparing utensil settings for a congregational party on Friday.  Folding paper napkins around plastic eating utensils may not seem festive, however coupled with Christmas music and pumpkin pie it sounded and smelled like it.  The season is impending and we are anxiously awaiting.  This year will be in Arizona visiting family.

Cricket, our dog, is half man, half dog.  She will often find a stray pillow and snuggle down for a nap.   What a girl!

Prepping for the ward party by folding utensil sets.

Assembly line for Christmas.  Probably what Santa's workshop looks like.  Our kids are still not happy that we don't pretend there is a Santa as a family.  Are you a Santa pretender or contender?

Pumpkin pie caps off the night.
