Knife Date

We now have an official colon cancer surgery date. In exactly 46 days (6 weeks and 4 days) Ryan Edward Smith will undergo surgery at the Hunstman cancer center where the unwanted, disloyal, unworthy part of his colon will be evicted forever.  The date of January 20th guarantees a few things.  Our Holiday season is going to totally rock, as we will be seizing the day.  The kids will be back in school and hopefully will be settled into their normal routines.  He will have about 7 weeks to pull it together before our baby is born, so fingers crossed (and arms folded) that he has no complications that would cause our two big 2015 events to collide; his surgery and my delivery of Norman.  I love this man,  and am hopeful that all will go smoothly.

He's super happy because he's feeling great... and his Dr. didn't have him do a painful check-up procedure.
