Answers to Prayers

A few thoughts on a day that Mormons call "Fast Sunday." Typically on the first Sunday of each month, we "fast", go without food or meals for two straight meals. The money we would have spent on food goes to the poor and needy.  Following the example of the Savior, fasting can also help us grow closer to God and give us strength during trials. Often, during a fast Sunday, thoughts and prayers are focused on friends or family members that are struggling, either physically or... getting ready for a big test, a job interview, trying to decide where to move, etc... Where am I going with this? Here it is. God answers prayers.  Even ones we haven't quite uttered yet.  Even when we don't know what we want or need, He does.  He is listening and watching over us, even when we don't realize it.  Sometimes I forget this.  On this particular fast Sunday, I felt God's hand. How grateful I am.

I liked this quote and thought the image was cool.
