Sabbath Day

The focus in church today was on the restoration of the gospel.  It's hard for me to imagine what it must have been like to live during a time period where the priesthood of God was not found on the earth, or a time when God's prophet's weren't declaring His word to people. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, be cool and ask me.  For dinner we had jacket potatoes, complete with butter, sour cream, cheese, broccoli and bacon. It's hard not to like anything that has bacon. For dessert, we had Annie and Owen perform.

It began with a bow.

Followed by some very technically advanced dance lifts.

The finale.

A winded, but happy dancer.

The final performance of the night included several pieces on the piano, all played with eyes closed. Well done, Annie.  The show was performed just before bedtime.  I love that they performed in their church clothes, making it a very formal affair.
