On the Road

Day one of our vacation is almost over.  No flat tires on the freeway from Utah to Nevada, thank heavens. No crazy bathroom emergencies. No spills in the car. No getting lost. No fights. No problems. I'm crossing my fingers that this little happy streak will continue during the rest of our vacation, and the rest of our lives:~) Seriously though, I picked out a scripture for the family, and labeled it the motto of our trip.*  If we can be cool and follow the teachings of this verse, then the trip will continue to be wonderful... If not, then we will have a normal, regular, Smith vacation.  Never mind the kids, sometimes I can barely behave for more than three hours at a time!

Annie thought that Norman's long hair that's sticking up was just so funny.

Swimming at the pool. The water was nice and warm, so Norman actually played in it for about an hour. Handsome boys. Annie is somewhere in the pool area...

Dinner was had at this Korean / Mexican fusion restaurant called Komex. It was a random tasty experience, recommended to me by a pal in Bountiful.
Eat at a Korean/Mexican restaurant: check.

*Mosiah 18:21 And he commanded them that there should be no contention one with another, but that they should look forward with one eye, having one faith and one baptism, having their hearts knit together in unity and in love one towards another (in Hawaii!)
