When I get to combine two of my favorite things into one day (family and food) I'm a pretty happy woman. Saturday was a celebration of both togetherness and deliciousness. Hot lunch date with Ryan where we went to hear one of his old high school friends give a lecture, and then we caught some Mexican food at a food truck. For dinner all eight of us ate some tasty food; Norman had milk and the rest of us had made to order skillet stir fry. Relaxed Saturday's can't be beat.
The more stands I try, the more I am convinced that the best Mexican food stand in all of Salt Lake are is located on the East side of the Sears department store parking lot. It's an absolute fact.
This is one of those meals that makes it hard to dine and dash: meaning everyone stays a lot longer at the table and therefore enjoys each other a little more.
