24 Hours

This Saturday our entire family spent the entire day together. All six of my kids, Preston, Calvin, Simon, Annie, Owen, Norman and my husband and I were together from sun-up to sun-down... and not just in the same vicinity, but we were actually gathered together, spending high quality time together.  No work schedule, no other activities or duties.  It. Was. Wonderful!

Good morning jog and workout together at Mueller Park Jr. High track.
Then home for brunch where we ate what we would have eaten on our campout that didn't happen.

Farmer's Market soaps. Annie Joy simply loves to make soaps and bath bombs.
Followed by a viewing of Ant Man... which was actually really wonderful. I seriously recommend it.

Bowling finished out the night.
The best part of bowling is the chili cheese fries... And the black lights... And the drunken woman who asks if I'm the "Chipper Chef" so that she can win a $50 bet with a friend, proving that "the Chipper Chef is a Mormon and wouldn't be in the bar at the bowling alley"...  so that happened.

Annie totally won the game, with 110 score. I bowled a 93, which is lame-sauce because any game that doesn't get at least 100 points is a waste of a game.
