The List

We had three items on today's list of things to tick off.  #1 Visit Rosyln Church, which is famous for it's beauty (and for being in the Da Vinci Code movie).  #2 The tour of the underground tunnels is Edinburgh, it was informative and silly.  #3 Make a gourmet dinner that proves to my sisters that I actually did go to cookery school: roast lemon chicken, ricotta spinach ravioli in an alfredo sauce, garlic green beans, italian olive bread, bruschetta, and a mango mint salad.  Tasty. It was a lovely day spent with some of my favorite people on the planet; my husband, my kids, and my sisters.

Checking out books in the gift shop.

Cal and Owen, dipping around.

Sisters in front of Rosslyn Church.  The stone work was breathtaking.

Simon, Annie and Owen, apparently bored with the church and more interested in the gravel.  Kids rock.

A family pic.  Families are Forever.

Eating a picnic lunch in front of the National Museum of Scotland.

Hillary wanted to take a pic with this giant squid, for the love of her son Noah, and his summer research project on giant squids.

Our tour guide for the History of Edinburgh tour. Spooky in the tunnels.  Apparently, loads of dead bodies were stored in the and under the city and then dragged through the secret tunnels into the medical school in Edinburgh, where they were always running low on cadavers.
