Friday Fun Day

Every Friday as a young mom living in Tucson, my mother, twin and I would routinely get together on Fridays for "Friday Fun Day." It mattered not what we did, just so long as we spent time together.  Today was certainly Friday Fun Day as we walked to our private park, along the canal and played at the Harrison Park with the kids. Then us sisters headed into New Town and were bounced out of a the Scottish Genealogical Society (for real) then ate at Pret a Manger, I gave the girls a guided tour of the cookery school I graduated from, then off to the Art Museum and some shopping at Primark.  We capped the night off with a family dinner at our favorite restaurant, Luca's and then a viewing of a gift Aunt Hillary gave us, Second Hand Lions. It was a high quality day.

Chatting at our private park.  The weather today was lovely.

Hillary and Lesley having a scooter race at Harrison park.  Thanks to Annie and Owen for loaning their wheels.  Lesley clearly won.

Feeding the ducks and spotting tadpoles.  We were low on rubbish bread so we tried to use corn tortillas. Ducks don't like corn tortillas.

Aunt Lesley can clearly braid!  Annie lookin gorgeous.

A highlight of my time with my sisters; getting to share my school with them.

My sisters are here in Scotland to celebrate Hillary's 40th birthday.  How lucky of Les to spot this Pizza Hut along Hanover that is also celebrating it's 40th as well. Boom, baby.

  1. Your school was so amazing, it was modern and had old time charm. You could tell that was where magic was made.
