Lindsey's Lemonade

Lemonade is easy to make, it only requires three ingredients: Water, Sugar and Lemons. I knew that if I started a personal blog, I would be forced to write about food, as it's my passion. I would also write about everyday things (water), events that were totally awesome (sugar), and occasionally I would vent and rant about frustrations, irritations and things that could only be described as terrible, horrible, no-good very bad and sour (lemons.) Thus Lindsey's Lemonade was born. Drink it up.

Takin Out the Trash

The garbage situation at the church is dire. Yesterday's lunch yielded more trash than I care to think about. The church has two smallish trash cans that get emptied fortnightly (meaning every two weeks!) It's ridiculous. So my sweet husband loaded up our car with several bags of trash. Naturally, they were left in the car overnight. This morning he added to the car our vast collection of recycling that needed to be disposed of (about 10 bags) and we headed to the dump/recycling center. It was rather warm, both yesterday and today, so our car now reeks of yogurt. There are worse things a car can reek of, but that doesn't somehow mean that the yogurt scent smells great. I do love a good honey greek yogurt with berries and granola. Breakfast tomorrow? Maybe.
