Lindsey's Lemonade

Lemonade is easy to make, it only requires three ingredients: Water, Sugar and Lemons. I knew that if I started a personal blog, I would be forced to write about food, as it's my passion. I would also write about everyday things (water), events that were totally awesome (sugar), and occasionally I would vent and rant about frustrations, irritations and things that could only be described as terrible, horrible, no-good very bad and sour (lemons.) Thus Lindsey's Lemonade was born. Drink it up.

Surrogate Family

It has been 12 years since we have lived near immediate family. This means Sunday dinner has been up to us to make a family affair. This usually means inviting over surrogate family, friends that become our family during our duration in any one location. Berkeley and Oregon were a bit more difficult to make surrogate family. Utah we have some life long friends that we consider our "family". We thought Edinburgh would be another Berkeley and Oregon; we could not have been more wrong. Our friends are our family here. Tonight we had Elder Whitt and Elder Park, our missionaries, the Gooches, the Nielsens, and James Holm. We love our friend family.
