The big event of the day was auditions at the elementary school for the play "Annie." My Annie has been practicing the song "Tomorrow" all week for this day, and my Simon has not:~) I wasn't able to see them audition, but Annie told me that when they asked her if she was trying out for the role of Annie, she replied with "Yes, I've been practicing for this part for over ten years." That's my girl!
A dear friend of mine actually sewed an "Annie" costume for her daughter. How fun that she loaned it to Annie for her tryouts. Simon is hoping for the part of Oliver Warbucks, and is rocking the three piece suit his grandparents gave him.
This was my sad little batman. Ear infections are no fun!
