Simon had a field trip to the rec center today. They would leave early, come home toward the end of school, swim and have a blast. He reminded me last night and I realized that I would probably have to come up with a lunch of some kind.
Me: Am I supposed to pack you a lunch?
SImon: No. When I turned in the form, the box for home lunch was checked, but I went to my teacher and said "There's no way my mom is going to remember to make me a home lunch. Can I just switch the check mark to the "school lunch"box?"
Me: Well done, son.
