Veteran's Day

FHE tonight focused on the concept of "self control" and how we develop it, and how great things can come to pass when we patiently master ourselves.  We had a good discussion, a short video clip, and cocoa with marshmellows for dessert.  Being Veteran's Day, my mind wandered during the lesson to all of the brave men and women who sacrificed time and energy, using their agency to help keep the USA a land of the free and home of the brave.  Thanks to all of you veteran's, your families, and loved ones. Thanks for your example of sacrifice and hard work.  You deserve a day to be remembered, and remember I did.

Tonight for FHE Ryan had us think about an area of our lives that we need help in and then visualize success in that area.  It was random and fun.
