Ask us Anything

For our Monday night family home evening, we thought it would be fun to just have a "Q and A" session with our kids. We told them they could ask us anything. Ryan even had some sticky notes with topics so that they would have something to base questions off of.  What we were hoping would be an educational endeavor, turned out to be pretty ridiculous.  Either our kids think that we don't really know anything so they figured "why bother" or they already know everything they want to know so they had almost no questions. At one point during the painstaking game, Annie said it was her turn. Finally, I thought and asked "What's your question?" Towhich Annie replied "I don't have a question, I have a demand. I want to be a famous Rockstar." Family night over.

Here were the prompting sticky notes.

Annie loves to give Norman baths, and often gets right in there with him.  This little boy loves his big sister so very much!

Here is a picture of Preston.  He is in our family, and is often away at work or doing theatre or other schooling activities.  Just proving that he is still in our family, my busy teenager.

My other sons hang in out on the couch.  We managed to talk a little bit about car loans and mortgages. That was basically it.
