Look at that happy family. The picture is rubbish because the lighting during our shepherds dinner is low, like starlight: candles and twinkle lights around the room and on the tree.
Lemonade is easy to make, it only requires three ingredients: Water, Sugar and Lemons. I knew that if I started a personal blog, I would be forced to write about food, as it's my passion. I would also write about everyday things (water), events that were totally awesome (sugar), and occasionally I would vent and rant about frustrations, irritations and things that could only be described as terrible, horrible, no-good very bad and sour (lemons.) Thus Lindsey's Lemonade was born. Drink it up.

Shepherds Dinner
Tonight we held our special Family Home Evening, where we ate what the shepherds might have eaten on the night that Christ was born. In reality, I think we eat a little bit better than they probably did. Our evening's menu consisted of gyros, hummus, dried apricots, cheese, bright green olives, pickles, and to drink: grape peach juice (just like the shepherds drank.) It is really one of our families all time favorite Christmas traditions. To close we read the nativity found in Luke 2, and sang some carols. It was a simple and delicious night... and it almost made me forget that just an hour before, I was in a car accident, and my car now needs some repair work... and it will cost real money... and we are trying to drive down to AZ in 4 days. I would sincerely appreciate any prayers offered on our behalf that our Christmas plans can remain in place. That would be much appreciated. But in reality, what really matters: Joy to the World, the Lord Is Come!!!
