Our journey to the warmer US of AZ started today. We are resting in Vegas for the night, will try out the pool and jacuzzi tomorrow morning, and then will drive down to Mesa AZ. The car ride went better than expected: no stinky shoes, no pulling over to reprimand, and lots of loud singing. I am so very excited to see all of my AZ relatives, and feel of their love... and their climate. Not gonna lie, I'm Utah jazzed for the low in Mesa to be warmer than the high in Bountiful. See you later snow!
As a Mormon, I don't drink alcohol, gamble or condone pornography in any form. For many, the things that I just listed might be the only things that come to mind when thinking about Vegas... but, there's more to this town! Above is a picture of a Mormon temple, where people go to learn about Jesus Christ, become inspired, and help others. Yeah Vegas temple!
