In about three weeks, I will look back and smile on this remodeling experience, and truly feel grateful in my heart for all the time and effort and cash we put into some much needed and much appreciated upgrades to our home. As for tonight, I'm tired. I see chaos in almost every room of my house, a natural byproduct of having to move things into non-construction rooms. I need to pray for peace of mind, and then have a nice mug of hot chocolate.
Breakfast this morning in the front entry room. Nice.
Calvin's basketball team went to a Jazz game tonight. We won.
This is what the South West corner of my kitchen looks like. Yikes.
Ryan is removing the cabinets in the South East corner of our kitchen. He suffered only one flesh wound this evening, and I bravely got him a bandaid, and I used mental toughness so as not to pass out.
Oh my goodness! You guys have some serious timelines! So much hard work. I can't wait to see the results!
ReplyDeletePS. I found over the summer, almost everything can be cooked on a grill, and even reheating can be done that way. Meat, veggies, and even cheese crisps. (In fact it all might be better). But I forget it's cold there.... and we didn't have a microwave either... Good luck, you guys are amazing!
If this wasn't my radical year I would so fly up there to bask in the new remodel, next year for sure! I have got to see this in person!
