My dear friend Amy Hunter turned 40 today, and I got to be in on the surprise party action. I was the distraction of the afternoon while her family got the house ready, made the cake and practiced with the guests their "Surprise! Happy 40th Birthday Amy." It was great to go get her nails done, to visit Ikea, and to chat it up. SO glad to have an Amy Hunter in my life!
A manicure was part of the distraction. Amy went with a bright red, which only seemed appropriate given her age.
