Dental Coup

About a week after we returned home from Scotland, Owen (my five year old) started begging to go to the dentist to get his teeth cleaned.  I called our dentist to make an appointment, and he was so very disappointed to learn that our appointment wasn't to be for over a week.  What a darling little boy.  Possibly, he had an inner sense of how well our visit would go today.  After an entire year of receiving no dental cleanings, and consuming vast quantities of haggis, nips and tatties, all five of my children are cavity free.  Jinkies and zoinks.  What a pleasant surprise.  I love pleasant surprises, and chimichangas.

Preston getting his teeth clean. No cavities!

Simon piking out a tooth brush. No cavities!

Owen picking out his tooth brush.  No cavities!

Annie making a weird face whilst picking out a her tooth brush. No cavities!

Calvin getting his teeth cleaned.  About to discover that he has... No Cavities!

This was the welcome home sign we left up for the entire time that Ryan was gone.  We crossed out the  "S" minutes before we got him home from the airport. Welcome Home Smith.  Now that is resourcefulness.
